To honor Chief Coleman’s legacy and life work in fire safety, professional development, accreditation, professional designation, and education in the Fire Service, the Institution of Fire Engineers Ronny J. Coleman Scholarship fund awards an annual scholarship of $1000.00 to a Fire Protection or Fire Science student in the United States. The student must have at least a 3.0 GPA at an accredited College or University to apply.
